I think t alking about periods shouldn't be one big talk at a particular age. We many a times think ourselves as modern and consider talking about menstruation normal. But when it comes to talking, people tend to become shy or are extremely uncomfortable in talking about it, and that's where the problem arises. Many girls tend to get really nervous when this topic oozes out. Not only talking about the negatives, let's divert the path to positives that have happened. Even though in many parts of the world menstruation is not taken seriously, many parts are starting to understand it and are on their way on breaking the taboos. By taboos, I mean not allowing girls to visit holy places during their so called 'periods'. Not in every household, but still in many parts it is believed .
